Rachel DuFresne

Rachel DuFresne is the founder of Earth Philosophy, dedicated to plant-based wellness, botanical education, and regenerative gardening. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Rachel’s studies in botany and ethnobotany inspired a lifelong exploration of the relationship between plants, human health, and ecological balance.

Rachel’s commitment to preserving plant knowledge and traditional botanical practices has taken her throughout the western United States, Mexico, the French West Indies, the Amazon rainforest, and the south of France, where she has practiced plant identification, herbal extraction methods, and traditional plant uses.

Rachel currently serves as Board Member and Secretary of the Wild Ones Islands to Inlands Chapter, supporting native plant conservation and habitat restoration. Through her workshops, plant walks, and educational experiences, Rachel invites participants to reconnect with the wisdom of the plant kingdom and discover a deeper relationship with the natural world.

Plants have long offered their essence to support our well-being. If we are to draw from the healing wisdom of nature, we must also honor and protect the living ecosystems that sustain it.

Our philosophy is simple…
